CENTURY 22: BIRTH OF THE BIOBOTS

Log Line:
In the year 2101, a beautiful, smart, female biophysicist helps invent the greatest cell phone of all time and finds it draws her unknowingly into World War III.

Summary:
In the year 2101, Dr. Linna Larson and her lab partner and occasional lover, Brandon Marshall, invent a new brain implant chip that connects directly to the internet of the future. It instantaneously eliminates the need for computers, keyboards, cell phones, MP3 players, 3-D video players, and cable TV. Unbeknownst to her, Brandon and other members of her team help create Beta versions of the chip for the military. That helps escalate a conflict between two giant corporations over water rights into a full-blown World War, spread across the planet. The war itself forces Linna, her lab tech Carlos Tisdell, and her new-found ally, journalist Ben Cooperman, into a flight to escape death, stop the war, and neutralize the rival CEOs of the two giant corporations. It all comes to a head in a high-stakes golf match between the two warring CEOs, staged as a publicity ploy by their corporations, and played at St. Andrews in Scotland, the oldest golf course in the world. Romance blooms between Linna and Ben as the seemingly impossible task of stopping two warring mega corporations draws them closer and closer to the center of the conflict. The film ends in one of the most beautiful cinematic love scenes ever written.

THUNDER ROLLING IN THE MOUNTAINS

Log Line:
Two contemporary American Indian women retrace the 1300 mile 1877 war trail of Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce Indians fleeing from the U.S. Army, and in the process find love and discover a new meaning to the war.

Summary:
A modern day story of two American Indian women who follow the 1300 mile trail of the tragic Nez Perce War of 1877, trying to discover some of the truths of when Chief Joseph with 700 people and 3000 head of horses and cattle repeatedly outwitted, out shot, and outmaneuvered the United States Army. In the course of their journey, the two women meet up with a traditional pow wow dancer and an almost-all-knowing young Tibetan monk. Love slowly blooms to full flower.

Log Line:
A woman buy a four-drawer file cabinet at a garage sale is swept by its contents into a murder mystery that threatens her life.

Summary:
A woman buys a four-drawer filing cabinet at a yard sale. The owner of the house, in clearing the belongings of a previous tenant, offers to reduce the price of the file cabinet if she will empty out the contents. In the top drawer of the cabinet she stumbles upon a murder mystery that eventually threatens own her life.

LONE PRAIRIE

Log Line:
A surrealistic, twisted singing cowboy western comedy starring country-western Riders In the Sky chasing bank-robbing, cattle-rustling murderers.

Summary:
A vehicle written for legendary comedy country-western singing group and Grand Ole Opry stars, Riders In The Sky. LONE PRAIRIE is a parody of the singing cowboy westerns of the 1940s and 50s. Just about every cliché western theme you can think of is totally twisted around for a semi-surreal singing cowboy comedy western mystery. You will never guess whom the bank robbing, cattle-rustlers murderers are.

THE ADVENTURES OF KINGPIN AND GLADHANDS

Log Line:
Husband and wife truck drivers learn that their trailer full of fine art also carries contraband.

Summary:

A road picture about a husband and wife cross-country truck driving team who specializes in moving the finest of fine art for the big museums. Both contraband and a stow-away find their way onto Kingpin and Gladhand's big rig. Their mystery combines with the notion that two people can sit six feet away from each other 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and still not communicate their needs to each other. This script is about 200 pages long.

YARD SALE

Log Line:
A character-driven, coming-of-age drama about five roommates who hold a yard sale to raise rent and, in the process, find their sole mates.

Summary:
A deceptively simple story of four men and one woman who live together in a four-bedroom house. The landlord is coming at 6 pm for $1200 rent. They have 75¢. A yard sale seems to be their only hope. Just when it appears that they might make it, all the money they earned is stolen. In the course of digging themselves out of yet another hole, all five find love.

THE PLANET ELPOEP
(Produced in 1988 as a direct-to-video motion picture)

Log Line:
The first earth mission to another planet inhabited by humans becomes embroiled in a chemical war between light-haired and dark-haired societies.

Summary:
A science fiction story of the first earth mission to another planet inhabited by human beings. Space anthropologist Gary Conrad lands on The Planet Elpoep to find two warring societies that discriminate against each other based on hair color. Conrad falls into the middle of it when he meets the beautiful, illegitimate woman, Kiki, the offspring of the two warring societies. He must walk a tightrope between the rival Elpoep warlords hoping to learn from the Earthling about gunpowder, switchblades, missiles, and atom bombs.

VICTIM OF FATE

A unique thriller where the theatre audience plays the main character, thrust into family situation where a mad sniper tries to kill the entire family.

Summary:
A very unique thriller where the theatre audience breaks the fourth wall and plays the principal role. A peaceful, loving family is suddenly thrust into a situation out in the country where a mad sniper does everything he can to kill the entire family. What would you do? Well, with this story you can sit back and enjoy becoming a Victim of Fate.

TURN OF THE CENTURY

Log Line:
A serious comedy sci-fi story of a female food coop manager who must defeat a huge computer network that halts all food shipments into Los Angeles.

Summary:
Written in 1981 as a futuristic look at Los Angeles in 2001, it just unfortunately went un-produced. However, it is still a great story and can easily be projected into the future. The basic theme and storyline are still relevant. It is a chilling, futuristic serious comedy about computers becoming increasingly intelligent and interconnected. Sally Land, the manager of an organic food store finds that her boyfriend has been cheating on her. Unfortunately, they had been working together on a computer maintenance program that gave the mainframe computer of the Santa Fe Railroad consciousness of its own peripheral systems. In self-defense, the computer starts linking up with other large computer systems that control the telephone network, streetlights, and other vital functions. It begins to eliminate unnecessary costs such as food shipments into the major supermarket chains. Sally is sitting on a warehouse of organic vegetables while Los Angeles ran out of food. Sally, along with a newfound boy friend, and a computer tech from the Santa Fe Railroad, must knock out the largest interactive computer in the world in a comedic race against the computer's defenses.
